Gunmen riding a motorbike shot dead a government official and two police officers here on Monday, police said. "The assailants shot dead Khadim Hussain Noori, director of the public relations department of Balochistan government," city police chief Wali Khan Nasir told AFP. Noori had been parking his car when he was shot, he added. "It appears to be a sectarian attack, the target was Noori," Nasir said.

The two gunmen then killed two police officials who pursued them after the attack on Noori.
